September in Malta is hot hot hot... and humid, but that didn’t stop the crowd getting behind the 90 minute set played by U2Baby at Swieqi Fest 2018.
In a beautiful courtyard setting the boys opened with “Even Better than the Real Thing” and stuck with a tried and tested “hits” set which delighted the crowd.
Unlike many countries the Maltese crowds are ultra attentive listening to every note and concentrating on the bands performance. A few dancers created a buzz and Mysterious Ways with traditional “Bono girl” stage antics really got everyone moving.
And before they knew it time had once again escaped everyone and the police shut down the show with six songs to go! Rock n’ Roll stops a lot! U2Baby look forward to returning to Malta in the near future.
